Where does Run-An Technology operate?
Primarily in Tainan, with the rest of Taiwan served as a secondary area. In Tainan we can arrange on-site surveys and commissioning; projects elsewhere are scheduled according to scope and requirements, so please email or call us to discuss.
Do you take on small jobs, such as a single control panel or a one-off PLC program change?
Yes. We build single control panels and modify stand-alone PLC programs. Our core business, however, is the design, development and production of automation systems, so smaller repair jobs are scheduled around ongoing projects.
Which PLC brands do you program, and what can PowerScada connect to?
We program Mitsubishi (FX, Q, iQ-R), KEYENCE KV, Vigor, FATEK, Beckhoff TwinCAT and Omron PLCs, and build HMIs on Weintek and Mitsubishi GOT. Our in-house PowerScada SCADA natively supports Modbus TCP/RTU, Mitsubishi MC, KEYENCE KV, Vigor, BACnet/IP, BACnet MS/TP and OPC UA, and can also act as a Modbus TCP or OPC UA server for upstream systems.
Can you upgrade or maintain a legacy system built by someone else?
Yes. Legacy retrofits are part of our regular work, such as migrating old PLC programs, adding monitoring screens or adding data acquisition. Our scope covers the electrical control and software side (PLC, HMI, SCADA, communication); mechanical modifications are not included.
Which languages do you work in?
Traditional Chinese is our primary working language. For overseas customers we can deliver documentation and SCADA screens in English, Japanese or German, quoted according to the language and the complexity of the material.
